摘要 为进一步增进医学生对中医药英译的了解,推动中医药的传承发展和对外交流,以翻译适应选择论为理论依据,从语言维、文化维、交际维三个维度的适应与选择分析《中国的中医药》英译本中文化负载词的英译。着重列举四字格、连珠四字句、中医理论、中医医著、中药方剂、疗法等文化负载词的英译实例,阐述译者如何通过直译、省译、意译、音译、音译加注等翻译策略,实现“三维”的适应性选择与转换,探讨译文在交际维的适应选择上存在的问题,并分析原因,提出建议。最后指出译者有责任保持翻译生态的平衡与和谐,力求译文在译语生态环境中长存和发展。 In order to enhance medical students′understanding of the English translation of traditional Chinese me-dicine and promote the inheritance,development and intercultural communication of TCM,based on the theory of translation adaptation and selection,this paper analyzes the culture-loaded words translation in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China from the perspective of adaptive selections on the linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions.Translation examples such as four-Chinese-character structures,theories and books of traditional Chinese me-dicine,traditional Chinese medicine prescription and therapy are listed.This paper illustrates how to realize three-dimensional adaptation and transformation through literal translation,omission,liberal translation,amplification,transliteration,annotation strategies to probe into the problems existing in the adaptation and selection of translation in the communicative dimension,to analyze the reasons and to put forward suggestions.Lastly,it points out that translators have the responsibility to maintain the balance and harmony of the translation eco-environment and to strive for the lasting development of the translated text in the ecological environment of the target language.
