2.1 Pinning effect and parameter k In the material magnetization process, a balance is achieved between the force applied by the external magnetic field and the internal resistance due to the hindrance effect. The external magnetic field H corresponds to the magnetization intensity M, and the balance will remain the same irrespective of the duration for which the effect of the magnetic field lasts. The materials have such defective points (collectively called pinning sites) as anhysteretic substance mixture, pores, dislocations, and internal stresses, interfering with the magnetization process. Globus et al. believed that the hysteresis of materials occurs because of the pinning sites[8]. When magnet materials are magnetized, their internal domain walls shift under the influence of the external magnetic field, and the pinning point obstructs this movement.
