摘要 西方世界对中国园林的认知在近代发生了嬗变,相关专著也陆续问世。从喜龙仁的《中国园林》切入,再现其对中国园林的考察历程,梳理其认知来源,分析其研究方法与视角,还原其所呈现的中国园林形象,进而总结出近代西方学者的研究存在认知来源受限、研究成果分散以及开始回归"中国园林"本体的特点,并指出局限存在的客观性,及其在学术史上的开创性意义。 The cognition of Chinese garden of the western world had changed since modern times and related monographs had also started to appear.This study focused on Osvald Sirén’s Gardens of China.Through reproducing his investigation process on Chinese gardens,sorting out his cognitive sources,analyzing his research methods and perspectives,and restoring the image of Chinese garden presented in the book,three characteristics of modern western scholars were concluded as follows:the limited cognitive sources,the dispersion of study results,and the return to the ontology of"Chinese garden".Finally,the objectivity of the existence of limitation and its pioneering significance in the academic history were pointed out.
